160 NJ Public Workers Join CWA Under Majority Sign Up

Over 160 School Bus Drivers in Somerset County, NJ recently joined Local 1040. The NJ Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) certified the local in March using the civilized majority-sign up system to verify majority support.

 

 The local had about 140 on cards within two weeks thanks to a strong inside organizing committee.
