Get On the Bus for Health Care

National Health Care Reform Lobby Day: June 25, 2009

Washington, DC

Make Your Voice Heard

The fight for high quality health care for every American is on.  Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the House will vote on legislation by late July.  The Senate is on a similar time table.

Many critical issues remain to be fought out, including preventing our existing health care benefits from being taxed, protecting our pre-Medicare retirees, requiring every employer to pay their fair share, and guaranteeing everyone access to a high quality Public Health Care Insurance Plan.

Join thousands of union activists, health care advocates and allies in Washington, DC on June 25 to demand real health care reform that works for real people.

CWA members from across the country will join with our allies from Health Care for America Now, the largest progressive coalition working for health care reform, and with our brothers and sisters from other activist unions.  Together we will rally, march and make hundreds of lobby vistis as part of the largest-ever health care lobby day.

This summer, Congress will craft the way we will fix our broken health care system. Be in Washington to guide their efforts.

Don't miss this opportunity to raise your voice in support of guaranteed quality health care for everyone.
